Online shop featuring Australian clothing
I know I can be over the top with gift wrapping. So here is a lovely petite gift wrapped quite simply just Pour Vous. Just to prove I can do it. Isn't this solid coral gift wrap just divine? And that narrow Papaya ribbon? Pretty gift tags can make the gift and these are pretty, pretty with a bit of glitter.
My friend was here the other day using the Wrap Room to wrap some personal gifts and used these Sweet Treats tags on orange. I hadn't gotten around to playing with these new gift tags yet, but her clever instincts were right, the pastel confections show well on a stronger colour. See that tan gift wrap in the background? Remember last weeks post on the Burberry re-gift? I found the perfect Burberry-toned gift wrap and will spend the weekend getting my version ready for the website. I can tell it's going to be a favorite.
Another handy little gift in the Small Gifts collection. This Gift Organizer is actually a practical gift. I wish I had kept track over the years, I do tend to forget my gifting these days so I'm going to grab one for myself.

Nokia N85 Review And Technical Specifications
The Nokia has launched its another amazing handset in the mobile market namely Nokia N85. This is a gorgeous black colour looking mobile phone which comes with the slide mode opening mechanism. The N85 is embedded with a dedicated 5 mega pixel camera with 20 x Digital Zoom, auto-focus and dual LED Flash facilities that allow you for capturing quality pictures even when the surrounding are less brightened. The dimensional features of this handset also amazed me that include 16mm depth, 50mm width, 103mm height. This phone weighs 128 grams that makes this gadget so much handy for me and very comfortable to fit in my pocket.
This Nokia N85 comes with 2.6 inches QVGA screen that lets you view all the menus, options and other outputs clearly. I am also pleased with the Internet and browsing facilities of this device. It has 3G HSDAP, Bluetooth, EDGE and Wi-Fi technology. The MP3 music player of the device allows one to listen to favorite songs and music. The entertainment is further enhanced by FM radio with RDS application, MP3 Polyphonic ring tones.
This handset is fully furnished with all the modern facilities of a modern handset, but I have found couple of issues with this handset regarding its software that often gets frozen for a moment but again works properly. So, this sudden interruption is a not a pleasing factor. Besides this, the gadgets has mind-blowing features based on the latest technology. The Nokia N85 phone is a good option to avail advanced features and functionality.

The Perfect Vacation or Gift to give your Wife or Girlfriend
Well I always get mails from chicks wanting to know this that or the other pertaining to guys and I answer them and they take my advice and it works out just like I said it would or they don't and it gets all messed up. Well I know guys don't always ask things so I will give some unrequested advice to guys out there to give your girl the perfect vacation. The ultimate gift. Something that will please them beyond anything they thought possible.
Guys most of you don't appreciate what your girls go through, wives especially. If they work outside of the home they work the same hours as you do then get home and have tend kids and clean house and do most of the cooking, washing, folding and so on. The same goes for SAHM's. Have you ever tried talking to a 3 year old all day as well as doing all the other things listed up there? It doesn't exactly peg out the excitement meter. Well then you roll into the house and half way expect dinner to be ready, kids to act right, house to be clean etc etc and never give her the credit she deserves. Well this plan I have will absolutely let her know how much you care about her and how much you appreciate what she does for the family. This will show her how in tune with her wants, desires and needs are as well as show her you are selfless and all that other sissy stuff they like to see from you once a decade.
This will also work with girlfriends, shack ups, friends with benefits and on and on.
Anyway here you go. Bust out and dust off your trapper keeper and don't miss a word, I will lay it out in easy to understand instructions.
Ok guys first you need to get someone to watch your house, kids, pets or other things that might need tending for 3 days. The plan needs 3 full days. Oh yeah if you can keep it a secret its better. Then you need to make travel plans for the two of you leaving Friday afternoon and returning on the redeye Sunday night. Pick a destination on or near the beach say from Texas to North Carolina. Somewhere she has never been, somewhere beautiful and peaceful at the same time. Ok make the arrangements and all of that.
Then pack for her as well as new lingerie you have bought for her and her favorite ummmmm sexual aids, lubes, jells, lotions, potions, scented bath stuff, new perfume, you know all the foo-foo stuff chicks dig. Make sure you get all of that stuff. I know this sounds stupid but its only three days, damn suck it up wouldja.
Ok then after getting all the stuff squared away off you go to your beach destination arriving Friday night and getting into the LIMO you have waiting at the airport. To the hotel where she is taken directly to get a massage you have scheduled in advance for her. You unpack and prepare for later. Then after the massage you of course have wine or her drink of choice available when she returns. No touching or anything yet. She drinks a few or couple or one depending on her tolerance and you either read her poems or put the radio/tv on her favorite music station. By this time it is time to go to the fancy dinner you have SCHEDULED in advance.
Follow every step to a T!
You go to the dinner where the flowers you have had delivered there in advance for her are presented and the meal is perfect. Candles, romance, sweet nothings etc, all that romance novel BS they like. Then back to the hotel surely she is a little tired tonight from the trip and all.
Then when you return to the hotel you instantly start her a bath with the bath smell good stuff in there and candles and soft music. You offer to wash her lightly but still no sexual stuff AT ALL. Just tending to her in all other ways, pouring drinks, washing her back, adjusting the water temp. So you allow her to soak and all that. If you really went all out she is in a whirlpool tub and its whoopin and all of that, bubbles, smell good etc. You stay clothed. Then when she calls for you when she is ready to get out you go in and with the new super duper soft towel you have bought you lightly dob the water from her skin making sure she is sufficiently dry and then you allow her to do whatever the hell it is they do in there between getting out of the shower and being ready for whatever is next. Then when she calls again (she hasn't been able to see in the room this whole time per your instructions) you go back and give her the naughtiest outfit you bought for her and tell her to put it on wait 5 minutes, let the anticipation continue to mount then come out.
Ok this is the most important part for her to have the most satisfying, wonderful, excellent experience possible so don't get this wrong at all.
Ok then come back into the room, give me your cell phone number and the room key, go to your room and remember to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and alcohol delivered at the appropriate times and don't forget to pick up your completely worn out, sated, satisfied and sore wife or girlfriend up in time to make the airport Sunday.
I'm telling you it hasn't failed yet!

Burberry Goes Glam
A girl has to do what she has to do and in this case it was re-gift a Burberry box to fit an array of gift items that wouldn't fit into my normal size boxes. My friend Stephanie brought this larger Burberry box over for me to blog re-gift, little did she know I would use it for that and then to wrap up the birthday gift she ordered for a 19 yr.old girl. She kind of enjoys this whole re-gifting phase I am in and won't mind this re-gift solution. She has been thinking through an upcoming guest post on re-gifting store bags. When she does join us you are in for a treat, this friend has taught me more than a thing or two about gift wrapping.
I was lucky (again) that the Burberry logo wasn't too big, out came the Paris stickers and the melon colour put me into a whole colourway that I thought would be fun, but sophisticated for a 19 yr.old girl.
My very stylish friend told me I was a bit of a snob about gift bags and she is right. I love a boxed gift, I think it is the most gracious way to present a gift. There I said it. If I use a bag for your gift, it means one of two things, actually it means all of the following. I am in a hurry or/and I am not crazy about the person I am gifting, the recipient is under 10 yrs. old, or the recipient won't appreciate the difference. I just happen to think a boxed gift is so much more elegant and civilized. But.........I know gift bags are a choice for many who don't gift wrap for a living so I told my friend she is more than welcome to tell you how to re-gift a store bag in all kinds of clever ways and she is very, very clever. She may even convert me! I do have to admit that I love folding and pleating tissue and the effect of opening a gift under folded layers of tissue. So maybe it isn't that I am a bag snob, I just love tissue really neat and crisp as shown above. And in all fairness, I do give you lots of ways to re-gift store boxes so it isn't as if I am not helping you be economical in your gift wrap endeavors. Perhaps I just need to figure out a new way to use bags with pleated tissue.......another little challenge.
I did a flat wrap on the larger box so it would fit into the limited box depth. The only way this was going to work was if I kept the bows to a minimum. I used another larger Paris label to jazz up the flat wrap on the Anna Griffin Social Stationery Set and I used grosgrain ribbon on the matching Mousepad, pencil case, and tube pencils as it is the least likely to crush and crease, good to know when shipping a tightly-packed gift by the way.
Everything neat and tidy and layered just perfectly.
The new A Gift Wrapped Life gift labels that go over my folded and pleated tissue. Now tell me that doesn't look better than crumpled tissue.
I have a new wired black & white striped ribbon that I just love using. I have never been much for wired ribbon but I sure seem to be changing my tune with this one (that happens alot around here). The gift could go out the door this simple, in fact I love the understatement........but this is me who's wrapping so let's keep going.
I added in a gorgeous melon coloured silk double face satin to go with the coral tissue and orange ribbon and then topped it off with another layer of the dramatic black & white stripe. I love this combination with the soft Burberry tan box. I had no idea where I was going with this when I started, but really wish I had a good supply of Burberry boxes, they are gorgeous and a wonderfully neutral tone. I do have some of their bags so maybe there's another bag re-gift challenge for my friend.
I could have used my white paper flowers but I kind of liked the twist that came from adding the unexpected celadon green. In fact, I liked this effect so much, I'm going to order a tan giftwrap right now.
Happy July 4th Holiday to all my American readers ~ Hope you are having a lovely day with family and friends and lots of fireworks......hundreds of them.

Birthday Flowers - Birthday Greetings
May day is here with all its fresh and flowery feeling all around. This is the time when after a looooooong cold winter, bright spring and summer seasons arrive. And undoubtedly this is a time of celebration. The spirit is that of coming back to life.
During this time of the year, the best gift for someone would be nothing but flowers. So I suggest On your friends birthday or your sweethearts birthday, the best gift would be flowers. Tell the person that she is as beautiful as a flower or he is as special as the spring time.
Some May flowers that you can gift others are:
Lily of the Valley
Larkspur
English Lavender
Sunflower
Gerbera Daisy
Iris
Greens, assorted (smilax, sprengeri, tree fern, etc)
Hydrangea (late)
Ranunculus
Sweet Pea
May Day is just round the bend. Don't forget to wish it with flowers. Here are some lovely May Day Cards for you to send your loved ones.

Hampers (and Such) to Help You Sort the Laundry
So, in your research travels, have you found a sectional laundry hamper that is eco-groovy? Something along the lines of the Ingrid Anderson design, but with two or three compartments (for doing a pre-sort on the laundry), and hopefully not so pricey? -- question posted in comments, from organizer Claire Josefine
Sorry, Claire - I really haven't. But I'll share some of the more interesting products I have found. The one above is the HamperTote from ORE - and the company says it's orange, although the picture looks red to me.
And here's the quite-similar 3-in-1 laundry bag from John Lewis in the U.K. - except, of course, it says colours, not colors.
These individual laundry totes could also be used for sorting. [via Sarah's Fab Day]
This willow divided laundry cart is a different sort of portable option.
Another popular style is this triple laundry sorter - bags that hang from a metal frame.
This triple laundry sorter has labeled bags.
And this double laundry basket from Incidence is labeled in French. (Available for purchase from Amazon.fr, among other places)
The most stylish option of this type is the x-frame laundry hamper from SimpleHuman - there's a single version of this hamper, too. It's widely available.
Then we come to the sorting hampers; this one comes from Kangaroom. Two little pictures distinguish colors from whites.
Pottery Barn has this divided hamper. It's made from seagrass, so I suppose it has some eco goodness. It's not inexpensive, though. (You can get a cheaper seagrass divided hamper at CostPlus World Market.)
And finally, this bamboo laundry sorter - again, not inexpensive - is made by Wireworks.

Special Gifts, And A Great Swap
Each were made from one dollar bill. No cutting or pasting. Just folding. I know. You're speechless, aren't you?
Now to the package that I received today from my swap partner over at Ravelry, Duchess of Gravity. She sent an amazing package that really made my day! See that green and blue yarn? She hand dyed it! And the other gifts are just as wonderful. Yup, there's a frog in there. And a Glow Sheep!
This tea is delicious. It's a new product that she picked up at the Celestial Seasonings factory. Brand new, not even out yet.
Update: See that little tin of Altoids with my swap stash? I was putting it in my purse, and noticed that it didn't rattle at all. I opened it, and found a collection of vintage buttons! My swap partner did her homework. I read in her note that she included some buttons, but I just figured she forgot to pack them. What a nice surprise. Thanks again!
